Johnnie Walker Blue Label Legendary Eight - Liquid particles and gold molten liquid that moved in-between a timeless terrain create an immersive world that celebrates 200 years of Legacy with Jonnie Walker Blue Label.

Working in close partnership with More Global, Oliver UK and Johnnie Walker, I made use of the brand’s luxurious & unique positioning to build a landscape that would capture Johnnie Walker Blue Labels journey over the past 200 years. An intense movement that took you through proud and brand establishing destinations, such as Lagavulin and Brora allowed us to travel through the past 200 years and blend together at the end through the iconic bottle shape.

The entire Landscape was created and simulated in Houdini and created entirely from a single piece of artwork. My creative process was a combination of technology with purpose , and captivates their audience through the history of JW whiskey blends coming back to life through modern animation techniques.

Education First - A Curious Journey

Working in close partnership with EF Global Creative, the brand team at EF Education First, a World Leader in International Education, I created a curious launch video that would inspire all those young at heart and eager to learn. An original score created by Alexander Ivarsson Quintett naturally captured the light, delightful, near accidental happenstance of our story. I created a visual narrative that illustrates our curious, brave journey into the unknown when we decide to learn something new. Creative Storytelling Simple geometric shapes became the building blocks for our idea. I used the shapes from the brand toolkit to create the worlds that our character journey’s through. Although initially we had a few big ideas for the direction we fell in love with the child like honesty of the simplistic builds. I wanted the worlds to feel as if they were created and built by children.

Premier Bet is one of the best online sports bookmakers worldwide. I partnered up with Premier Bet and designed a series of TVC spots that helped establish their dominance as the best online sports betting platform. With a number of deliverables and a quick turnaround, my idea was to create a modular motion GFX toolkit of abstract football–related imagery. The high-end CG imagery combined with typography would be the foundations for an interchangeable, modular and easy to update TVC packaging solution. Bright brand colours, dynamic expressive typography and cinematic sound design were added to the edits to create a unique yet familiar identity for Premier Bet.

Working off the basis of bet.co.za’s pay-off line – The Games Starts Here – I developed a formula for all-encompassing concept that would be able to translate to every aspect of the campaign. The game would would represent the different sports involved in the online gaming. Starts would represent the action and call to entry of the promo. Here would be the result of the formula ie the brand. The formula was used then to create the visual representation. I created a modular toolkit that was easy to update from month to month. I solved both the creative and promotional requirements of the campaign.

We have since managed to brow the brand have spent a number of years updated their brand.

As one of South Africa’s leading online sports bookmakers, bet.co.za was looking for a series of television spots to represent that. The spots – to appear on Supersport –were to elevate the bet.co.za brand from just another sports betting website to a full-purpose sports betting company that is at the forefront of technical innovation when it comes to sports and sports betting.
