Frequently asked questions
Why should I apply?
The designer community we've built will help you grow, learn, and get great gigs with amazing companies eager to work with you. We also work for you, not just clients.
Other than matching, what services do you offer with our clients?
Payment guarantee, support for creatives, and introductions to new opportunities. We're also constantly doing market research and working to make the most in-demand skills accessible to designers.
What types of gigs do you offer?
We work with all types of creative services. Our target clients are enterprise, and we work with a few startups as well. Most of our gigs start around 20-40 hours/week for about 3 months, moving up from there. We've found that when the first month goes really well, the clients usually extend the relationship.
What happens if the client doesn't pay?
We guarantee payment whether the client fulfills their agreement or not. Our payment is set up on a weekly basis, so we'll know early if this is a problem and we'll cover your cost.
How will I get paid?
We know that as a freelancer, getting paid for your services can be difficult sometimes. We've taken care of that with a secure payment portal, and you get paid by us, not the client.
How much experience do I need?
We'd love to hear from you no matter where you are in your journey. Even if you're not qualified to start work with us now, you can get access to upskilling and a mentor network as an apprentice designer.
Do I have to be African?
Yes, we don't have plans to expand to designers from other continents.
